The International Toy Library Association (ITLA) has observed May 28th as World Play Day since 1999, marking its foundation back in 1987. The occurrence is more about promoting the attitude of connecting people of all ages through play rather than scheduled events. It aims to celebrate the right to play, involving exploration, and language experimentation, ultimately promoting physical, mental, and social health. Playing is encouraged for infants, children, people with disabilities, adults, and the elderly alike!
